About the Perceptive Children Support Forum

The Perceptive Children Support Forum was created by Athena A. Drewes, Psy.D., RPT-S, a licensed child psychologist, parapsychologist, and longtime advocate for children and families navigating exceptional or psychic experiences. Since 2010, the forum has offered a supportive online space for children, teens, parents, and professionals seeking information, validation, resources, and connection.

Meet Dr. Athena Drewes

Dr. Drewes brings more than 45 years of clinical experience working with children, teens, and families, along with a professional background in play therapy, trauma, attachment, and parapsychological research. She has written, presented, consulted, and trained internationally on children’s exceptional experiences, helping families and professionals respond with care, objectivity, and respect.
